Offbeat, a Lisbon-based magazine dedicated to covering the Portuguese independent music scene and bringing together this community of young artists and audiences.
Its aims to deliver honest insights in a playful tone, serving as a platform to connect readers and contributors.

live map feature
The Live Map feature is accessed by clicking the icon in the Home Page and it aims to provide information on the popular venues around Lisbon, as well as the music-related events in real time.
When zooming in on the map, the users will be able to watch live videos of the events happening over the past 24 hours. This can be done by tapping the green heatwaves, which signify the amount of videos uploaded from each location.

Offbeat’s goal to provide users with a platform for connecting with the community is facilitated at a monthly event where the readers will come together to the sound of live music.
Each monthly event could have a small line up of emerging bands playing, along with a second-hand market, exhibitions or workshops.
